Wine Storage

Once your wine is finished fermenting you’ll need to store it!

Glass wine bottles are the classic and most reliable way to store and serve wine. They come in a variety of styles and sizes from 375ml to 1.5ml, screw top or corked, green or clear. There are ½ and 1 gallon glass jug options for bulk storage and bags with spigots for easy serving!

Regardless of your container you’ll need wine corks or stoppers for your wine. We carry a wide variety of tapered rubber or cork bung stoppers, corks of different material from agglomerate to natural and synthetic, and also twist off caps.  Remember, If using cork sealed bottles you’ll also need a corker.

Wine racks are the best way to store your sealed wine bottles as they allow them to sit on their sides and keep corks moist. They can also be a lovely accent piece in many spaces. There are a number of options from low-cost plastic wine crates that hold 6 bottles each, to more stylish and functional metal wine racks that hold 30, 50, 80, or even 160 bottles at a time.

Alternatively you can age, condition, and serve wine on tap from an oak barrel! These too come in a variety of styles and sizes from small decorative 5L casks to large 60L barrels for bulk storage.
