Hops

12 products

Hops are a key ingredient to beer that is present in every one. They balance the sweetness of malts with their bitterness that is measured in Alpha Acids. The higher the number, the more bitter the hop.  They also provide different flavours and aromas to beer from woodsy to citrus depending on the variety.

Hops can be added to beer during the boil phase of brewing in partial and all grain mashes. Bittering hops are added near the beginning of the boil usually for 45 minutes, while flavouring or aroma hops are added near the end usually for 15 minutes. You can also “dry hop” any beer by putting them directly into your fermenter for intense hop flavours. The amount you use depends on a recipe or your taste.

All our hop pellets are fresh, aromatic, and cold preserved for maximum flavour!
