What you need to know about your Wedding Wine
The vision of your wedding toast with all your family and friends is a memorable one, and we at Danny’s want to make a personalized experience for you special day. Here are some tips.
- When selecting your hall for your reception, ask if you can bring in your own wine and if there is a corkage fee. Also remember that you need a special occasion permit from the AGCO www.agco.on.ca
- How much wine to make? Generally it is two glasses per guest.
- 750mL bottle yields 6 glasses at 4oz.
- 1L bottle yields 8 glasses at 4oz.
- 1.5L bottle yields 13 glasses at 4oz.
- When to start your wine? This comes to preference – here at Danny’s we recommend you start shopping 6 months before the wedding.
- What type of wine to serve? It is always important to think of your guests when it comes to wine – When you are ready to begin the wine making process someone at Danny’s can help you choose what would be best for your special occasion.
- Personalized labels is best to start 1 ½ months before bottling the wine to ensure.
Feel free to visit us and we will be happy to make your wine making experience a pleasant one.
ALSO Consider using wine as your wedding favour!
